Last Epoch: Marksman Leveling Build Guide
The Marksman is one of the three Class Mastery options available to the Rogue in Last Epoch, offering a long-range playstyle with various ranged attacks. From raining down arrows on groups of enemies to barraging them with elemental attacks, the Marksman is perfect for players who enjoy dealing damage from a distance. In this guide, we'll take you through a build that utilizes Multishot- a skill that fires a wave of arrows at enemies, dealing high damage in a large area- and focus on carrying you through the Monoliths stage of the game.
Build Overview
Pros:
·High damage output
·Large Area of Effect (AoE)
·Good mobility
Cons:
·Weak without key Uniques
·Close-range interactions may feel limited
This build is centered around Multishot, which becomes available after investing five points into the Marksman Passive Tree. By default, Multishot fires a cone of five arrows. However, through the Multishot Skill Specialization tree, we modify it into a close-range skill that deals significant damage. To enhance the effectiveness of Multishot, we'll also specialize in Dark Quiver, which provides a variety of buffs, both offensive and defensive. Shurikens and Smoke Bomb will add defensive layers, while Shift will serve as the primary mobility skill.
Skill Breakdown
Main Skill: Multishot
Multishot is the core of this build, and we'll focus on its damage potential, especially at close range. In the Multishot Skill Specialization tree, follow these nodes:
·Right Side: Start with Sniping, Pinning Shots, Large Quiver, and Giant Slayer. Giant Slayer increases Multishot's single-target damage but reduces its overall AoE. However, this reduction is balanced by the nodes on the left side of the tree.
·Left Side: Invest in Quick Draw, Back to Back, Hang Loose, and Point Blank. Point Blank will significantly boost Multishot's damage at close range, ensuring that more arrows hit the target and maximizing the effect of Giant Slayer.
·Additional Nodes: Take Piercing Shots for added damage and Efficient Draw if you experience mana issues.
Supporting Skill: Dark Quiver
Dark Quiver provides key buffs, though it isn't directly placed on your hotbar. Focus on the Until Dawn node, which should be maxed out (5 points) to give Multishot a 25% chance to summon a Black Arrow with each use. Other important nodes include:
·Quick Draw: Grants Fury when picking up a Black Arrow.
·Crimson Quiver: Grants Crimson Shroud, a buff to increase your survivability.
This skill provides a powerful buffing mechanism as long as you keep summoning and picking up Black Arrows during battles.
Mobility: Shift
Shift is your mobility skill, allowing you to move quickly and avoid damage. Specialized Shift with the following nodes:
·Molting and Shadowslip: These provide a defensive tool to help you stay alive in tough situations.
·Momentum: Increases your mobility, making it easier to traverse the battlefield.
·Sleight of Hand: Allows you to use Shurikens while shifting, adding another layer of defense.
Defensive Skill: Shurikens
We'll focus on Shurikens as a secondary defensive skill rather than a primary attack tool. Maximize these nodes:
·Scintillant Steel: Adds additional damage.
·Acrobatics: Adds a cooldown to Shurikens and lets you backflip, enhancing mobility.
·Behind the Veil and Stagger: These debuff enemies and provide utility.
·Blade Shield: Makes Shurikens circle you, adding damage and defensive layers.
Defensive Skill: Smoke Bomb
Smoke Bomb provides essential defensive buffs. The following nodes are crucial:
·Concealed in Carnage: Provides additional defense.
·Enfeeblement: Weakens enemies caught in the Smoke Bomb.
·Moonlight Bomb: Enhances your Smoke Bomb's effectiveness.
·Shrouded in Darkness: Increases the stealth element of Smoke Bomb.
Passive Tree
Primarily, we'll focus on the Marksman tree, with some points added to Bladedancer and Falconer for additional Dexterity and tankiness. The Rogue tree will focus on:
·Swift Assassin: Max this node for increased damage.
·Evasion and Agility: Boosts your mobility and damage.
·Steady Hand: Unlocks the Marksman tree at level 20.
In the Marksman tree, key nodes to focus on include:
·Assassin's Quiver: Increases your damage significantly.
·Draining Arrows: Provides sustain by regenerating Mana with each hit.
·Concentration, Meditation, and Reflection: Enhance your damage, defense, and mobility.
·Barbed Arrows and Sniper's Gambit: Adds more damage, and Sharpshooter compensates for the damage reduction caused by Point Blank in the Multishot tree.
·Master Archer: Grants Multishot additional arrows for more damage.
Important Stats and Uniques
Offensive Stats Priority:
·Physical Bow Damage

·Defensive Stats Priority:

Unique Things to Look Out For:
1. Drelkor's Compass: Reduces Multishot's Mana cost and adds extra damage.
2. Foot of the Mountain: Also reduces Multishot's Mana cost, allowing you to spam it more freely.
3. Red Ring of Atlaria: A strong defensive ring that significantly boosts your survivability.
4. Nightbringer: Increases damage and utility by blinding and slowing enemies with Multishot.
Conclusion
The Marksman build in Last Epoch is an excellent choice for players who want to deal high damage from a distance, especially using the powerful Multishot skill. This build is capable of clearing enemies in wide areas with high single-target damage, thanks to a combination of skill specialization, passives, and key Uniques. While you'll need to level up using Detonating Arrow early on, once you obtain the right Uniques like Foot of the Mountain and Drelkor's Compass, this build will become a powerhouse capable of taking on tougher enemies in the Monoliths and beyond.
Of course, Last Epoch gold is also an indispensable item in the game. If you need enough gold to exchange for equipment, etc., you can go to Eld to buy Last Epoch gold. Eld provides you with the best online service and looks forward to your visit.
